In the Year 2010...

Was freakishly cold and not much was being done in life so I started this blog, yeay! Did a mini photoshoot of Lilly's apartment where nowadays she doesn't live anymore. Funny how things change in a year....

Was the month where not only did I get a visit from my dear friend Moa and her son Ebbe but I went to the Midlake concert. Moa, Ebbe and I had an amazing day at the children's library and the snowstorm made it almost impossible for the two to get home after the weekend...

It was still snow everywhere around the city but you could tell spring was coming. Anna and I spent almost every minute off from work walking and soaking up the sun.

Is the month where I had my wisdom tooth removed. If anyone ever tells me to do that again I won't even do it for a million. Well, that was a lie, I would do it for a million and buy nice drugs for a tenth of the money and spend the rest after recovery. But still, it was the worst thing I've ever experienced and I have a lot of scars and stories to pick from.

In May I went to London to catch up with Lilly and Gina. Man do I love that city and gosh did we have fun. Woop woop girls!
And on the 14th baby Arthur popped out a month early to everyone's surprice!

In June we all had to witness the Royal Wedding, Linda and I participated at five in the morning walking home from a night out clubbing. But even greater than the wedding was that I ran 5km and got a massproduced medal for it. Yeay me!

In July it was time for a nice break from work and how to better spend it than with my favourite family in Göteborg and a day after arriving home flying to Portugal to visit Maria. Oh those summer days...

In August I bought my Mac and it's been solid love ever since. Best relationship I've ever had with anything. No fights and we only do stuff i wanna do.

Fall came and it rained and rained and I fell. It wasnt the worst day no way near but I can still smell the wet concrete.
But September brought something pretty great too...

October was filled with wonderful memories. Lilly entered a fashion competition and we made a roadtrip across the country and I signed papers for a brand new apartment to move in 2011.

I had my 29th birthday (Loooord next time 30!), baby Michelle was born, Aung San Suu Kyi was finally released and Anna took off on her trip around half the world...

Christmas and all that comes with it. This was probably my most busy month both at work and in my personal life. Let's hope for an even better 2011 and I love you all for popping over here now and then!

A Walk Down Memory Lane

I'm going through boxes of stuff and it's an endlessly boring job but it's better to do now than a week before moving day. While doing so I found this photo of me and Anna from back in 2003 when we lived in Dublin, Ireland.

I was 21 and had the time of my life. Anna and I crashed at some friend of mine's flat in Docklands and we used to sit on the neighbours balcony rooftop smoking and watching out over the Liffey. We worked in coffeeshops (Rio baby) for absolutely no money but met the coolest and funniest people ever.
I fell in love and got my heart broken and we had Hula Hoops for breakfast every day.
This photo was taken at my friend Stephen's 21st birthday party in Skerries. I had a hangover for a week after that party.

We were babies then, Anna is nowadays travelling the world and is preparing for New Year's in Bali (not jealous at all) and I miss her more than those days back in 2003. And those days were pretty good I must say....
Love you Anna!

75 Days To Go...

And I'm going coocoo for furniture. I have a budget that will only get me build your own bookshelfs from IKEA but a girl can dream ey? Room & Board is the best place to go nuts and dream away!
